Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna reach support agreement

California residents often hear news of celebrity child support disputes, which can become very complex. The dispute over child support between Rob Kardashian and Black Chyna also fits the pattern and after almost a year of conflict, the exes have agreed to terms.

According to reports, Kardashian will share custody of his 1-year-old daughter with Blac Chyna and will make monthly child support payments of $20,000. In return, Blac Chyna will retract abuse allegations she made against Kardashian, while reserving the right to once again go to court for the alleged domestic abuse if Kardashian violates the terms of their agreement, which includes Kardashian keeping his distance from Blac Chyna.

The couple, however, are also allegedly being monitored by Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services to ensure the safety of their daughter. The exes have had a rocky public relationship after Kardashian announced that Blac Chyna had left him and taken their daughter. At one point, Kardashian used his social media accounts to share graphic photos of Blac Chyna and included offensive comments about her. Blac Chyna countered with the domestic abuse accusations.

Reaching a child support agreement is an important part of the child custody negotiations. Parents who are facing conflicts related to child support might wish to confer with a lawyer with experience in family law. The lawyer can explain the state legislation, the options available to the parents and the possible outcomes of the negotiations. A lawyer might also represent a parent in the negotiations, which might be particularly beneficial for parents who are involved in contentious relationships with their exes and who might find it challenging to maintain their composure.
